4.5 & 5 Qt Worm Gear - WPW10112253

OEM KitchenAid Stand Mixer worm gear, this gear will fit the 4.5 quart ultra power tilt head KitchenAid Stand Mixers, and the 5 quart Artisan tilt head stand mixers as well as the K5 KitchenAid bowl lift 5 quart stand mixers.

This gear is a self-sacrificing gear designed as a fail safe.  So if the mixer gets over loaded this gear will strip saving the rest of the mixer gears, the armature and the planetary assembly.  This gear is available by itself, or in a kit with the pinion gear.  For the Worm gear assembly/kit, WP240309-2, CLICK HERE.
